The Cult of Domesticity is a book based off of the Ballerina Farm, a working farm in Utah run by Hannah Neeleman (a former ballet dancer) and her husband, who document their traditional lifestyle and large family that consists of eight children.
Drawing from Megan Agnew's article "Meet the queen of the 'trad wives' (and her eight children)", this 30-page book explores Hannah Neeleman's transformation from aspiring ballerina to modern homesteader. Through strategic use of negative space and isolated dialogue, the design reflects the void between abandoned dreams and embraced reality.
